On June 17, 2016, Dr. Beata Danek and Malgorzata Wajs, on behalf of the Polish American Medical Society (PAMS), organized the Second Annual Charity Fashion Show at Stereo Nightclub in Chicago. The event, attended by almost 300 people, generated a profit of over $15,000.00, 100% of which was donated to “Dom Samotnej Matki.” “Dom Samotnej Matki” is a shelter for single mothers hosted and operated by the holy sisters of St. Hyacinth Catholic Church  in Chicago. Dr. Slawomir Urgacz and Dawid Danek co-hosted the “Hot Summer Night” themed fashion show in which Polish doctors and students modeled beautiful collections of six designers — Nadia Davidi, Renata Mingelgrin, Mag/Han, Rich Casual, Obsession Boutique and Laurel Bridal.

Kamila Dworski of Polvision and Radio 1030 AM, the fashion show’s media sponsor, hosted a Red Carpet on which she interviewed the event’s generous sponsors and fashion designers. Janusz Piłka, Krzystof Babiracki, and Wojtek Lysinski photographed the beautiful models  – photos available below.

Afterwards, there was dancing, refreshments, a raffle, and a lot of fun. All those in attendance were happy to get together for such an exciting event while showing those in crisis that the community cares. PAMS looks forward to hosting the Third Annual Charity Fashion show next year.
