Dear Members and Friends of the Polish American Medical Society,

The Polish American Medical Society is delighted to highlight Dr. Angelika Kwak, a dedicated Junior PAMS member and PGY-2 Family Medicine resident at the University of Chicago. She is already distinguishing herself as a clinician and leader through the Leadership for Urban Primary Care Education and Transformation program, where she is developing an advocacy elective for her residency cohort, as well as in her national roles as the American Academy of Family Physicians resident delegate to the American Medical Association Resident and Fellow Section and as a member of the Medical Education Reference Committee.

Angelika’s commitment to leadership and service includes her time as President of the Medical Polish Organization at Loyola Stritch, her work as a Polish medical interpreter at Community Health, and her efforts in organizing a fundraising auction for PAMS. She aims to build a career that integrates family medicine, faculty development, advocacy, and service to the Polish community, while also enjoying time with her family, popcorn, salsa dancing, and trips to Poland.
