What a magnificent celebration! What a wonderful 70th Physicians’ Charitable Ball, Platinum Jubilee Gala!

Last weekend was filled with unforgettable events. It warmed my heart to see so many guests who had traveled from near and far, united by the spirit of unity and friendship. The night of October 6, 2023, marked the celebration of the 70th Annual Charitable Physicians Ball, our Platinum Jubilee Gala—a testament to our illustrious and impactful heritage.

As the Polish-American Medical Society in Chicago, we have traversed a remarkable journey. The effort, emotions, and dedication invested in organizing events like this over the years are truly beyond imagination. Our gratitude extends to the past Presidents, Boards of Directors, and the countless members who have ensured the enduring legacy of benevolence, generosity, and charity.

Our Physicians’ Balls have always been synonymous with elegance, thanks in part to the distinguished guests who grace us with their presence. Continuing this tradition, we were honored to welcome 𝗗𝗿. 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝘀 as our Guest of Honor. We also had the privilege of inducting four new Honorary Members into our esteemed Society: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗘𝘄𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗸𝗮, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝗿𝘆𝗸 𝗦𝗸𝗮𝗿𝘇𝘆𝗻𝘀𝗸𝗶, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗷 𝗗𝗿𝘆𝗷𝘀𝗸𝗶, and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝗮.

The festivities of the 70th Physicians’ Ball would never have been so glorious and sophisticated without the hard work and devotion of the Society’s Board of Directors. I am always grateful for your support and commitment, which keep our organization strong.

In keeping with our tradition, we presented a Community Award during the festivities. I am delighted to announce that the Polonia Polish Folk Song & Dance Ensemble received this esteemed distinction this year. We witnessed the beauty of their waltz, Spisz Polish folk dance, and a Polonez.

We express our appreciation for the unforgettable performances by KÆYRA, a Polish-American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Known for her participation in both American Idol and America’s Got Talent, KAEYRA skillfully highlights her Polish heritage. Her songs deeply resonated with the audience, providing continuous entertainment throughout the entire ball.
